Welcome to the web site for the Department of Agribusiness Economics! The department offers a comprehensive education leading to undergraduate and graduate degrees.

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

The Agribusiness Economics major offers a wide variety of studies related to business and policy. Students work with their faculty advisor to customize a course of study to meet their employment goals. There are several interesting specializations offered in fields such as agribusiness management and finance, energy and environmental policy,

farm business management, pre-law, and sales and marketing. Graduates are employed to provide vital services and supplies for all facets of the agriculture industry. Some market, process, sell and distribute farm-produced goods. Others become active in the areas of finance, marketing and sales. And many work for government agencies to design and administer programs and policies affecting food production, pricing and land or water use.
