The Department of Agribusiness Economics offers a wide variety of studies related to business and policy. Students can chose from several interesting and exciting degree programs and specializations. Or, students can work directly with a faculty advisor to customize a course of study to meet their educational objectives. We’re excited about having you as a student, and we want you to know we're here to meet your educational needs!

If none of these offerings entirely suites your educational aspirations, contact the Coordinating Counselor for Agribusiness Economics to discuss the option of designing a uniquely specialized course of study to meet your career goals. After talking with you, the Coordinating Counselor will select a faculty advisor that matches your professional interests and place you in contact with that faculty member to get you started on the road to accomplishing your educational objectives!

Program offerings include a broad spectrum of possibilities for the graduate student. The Department of Agribusiness Economics tailors its graduate program to meet the specific needs of each student. Our College is home to some of the nation’s most productive scientists. Ongoing research addresses a broad range of subjects, and our faculty have the knowledge and expertise to assist you in your specialized course of study.
ADVISEMENT
The advisement system at the College of Agricultural Sciences is a unique and student-oriented system. The system has proven effective in enhancing student retention and fostering positive faculty-student relationships throughout a student’s educational experience.
The layered advisement system first places a student in contact with a Coordinating Counselor. The Coordinating Counselor meets with the student to discuss educational goals and objectives. Once the Coordinating Counselor fully understands the student’s educational ambitions, the Counselor will assign a faculty advisor to assist the student throughout their educational endeavors at the College of Agricultural Sciences. Many students find this faculty-student relationship invaluable, and often call on their faculty advisors for job recommendations and professional advice. Our goal is to keep students on the right track to obtaining a degree in a timely manner!
